Presented to middle school students around the country to eliminate bullying and completely halt youth suicides due to bullying.
On October 21, 2022, No Weapon Productions, in partnership with NexxtOne Academy, presented "We Don't Do That Here!" at the illustrious Duke Ellington School of the Arts. WJLA Channel 7 News in Washington, DC, came out to cover the production.
"We Don't Do That Here!" is an innovative approach that uses entertainment to combat the bullying epidemic.
In 2021, the talented students from Duke Ellington School of the Arts created a "Making of..." video for "We Don't Do That Here!"
High school student performers present the 30-minute musical "We Don't Do That Here!" to middle school students, where bullying is at its worst.
Following the show, the cast engages in a talkback with the students - in and out of character.
"We Don't Do That Here!" uses intentional language. Our approach is effective because we:
~ Empower "Targets" (not "victims")
~ Redirect "Culprits" (not "bullies")
~ Turn "Onlookers" into "Interveners"
In addition to the 30-minute musical, we offer curriculum and classroom activities (for both middle school and high school students), as well as training and consultation for the other program elements to school counselors, teachers, and administrators.
We are rolling out "We Don't Do That Here!" to the following 15 cities:

Entertainment and music affect different areas in the brain. The songs are memorable. The key phrases and language are catchy.
High school students proudly step into their position of role model.
Together, we create "a culture of Interveners," students who are strong, confident, and admired.
