Entertainment As an Effective Tool to Build Self-Esteem and Awareness
Confidence Clubs are a powerful way to give middle school students the tools they need to gain self-confidence. By incorporating confidence-building strategies developed by an entertainment industry veteran, the DBAB Project has created an innovative and fun curriculum that keeps students engaged and learning.
The weekly program includes two Confidence Clubs per middle school – one for potential targets and one for culprits. It is well known that those who are bullied suffer from a lack of confidence, but just as often, low confidence is the impetus behind bullying behavior. Confidence Clubs help create and reinforce a culture of self-awareness and empathy.
The DBAB Project provides everything your middle school needs to create successful, effective Confidence Clubs, including:
- In person training for teachers, counselors and administrators
- A 32-week curriculum for both target and culprit Confidence Clubs
- Confidence Club Kits with printed materials and props needed for all activities
- Ongoing support from the program creator
- Discounted pricing for multiple middle schools in one district
